LinkGather - Export WordPress Links



This WordPress plugin shows you how to export the links for all your blogs posts in Google Spreadsheets format.

Download the plugin through the WordPress Plugin Repository by looking for LinkGather, or you can just go to the address below:

LinkGather

Now you have installed and activated the plugin, you can start using it.

Step by Step Guide


A new link on the menu side of your admin console will appear called LinkGather:

Hover over this tab option, you will then see a sub-menu with the different sections available to you:

Clicking on the Home offering, this will take you to the plugins homepage which includes instructions, similar to these, on how to use the plugin.

Post Links


Click the Post Links menu to move you to the page that will display all of your WordPress sites published posts’ links. Be aware that for the purposes of this instruction, we are using our demo test site with just a few links in it.

You should export WordPress URLs now see a table with two columns, one for the title of your posts and another for the links of your posts. However how many posts you have will depend on how long this list will be.

At the bottom of the link list, you will see that LinkGather has also added up how many post URLs you have.

You then also have the option to download the articles in Google Spreadsheets design.

Page Links


The instructions above is exactly the same for Page Links, however instead of bringing back published posts, it will bring back published pages instead:

JetPack URLs


The option for JetPack URL's is again exactly the same procedure as those above, but, JetPack URLs are actually built in more info short links created by the JetPack software. If you have the JetPack plugin installed, you must have the short links option also enabled for our plugin to be able to gather those URLs.

If you do not have the JetPack short links module enabled, our plugin will just pull back basic post links instead.

Hoping that you have JetPack short links enabled, clicking on our plugins wp.me Links tab will bring back all those JetPack ShortLinks that it has gathered:
